Those attending the March brunch were treated to a mix of Faith, Food, Fabulous Music and some seasonal Fun. The “seasonal Fun”, was our unique take on our Special Feature time. Instead of brining someone in, the attendees were challenged with a St. Patrick’s trivia game, created by Eileen Mahn, and played as table teams. The excited participants couldn’t contain themselves by shouting out the answers on several of the questions and laughter. The group of ladies sitting at the winning table were each treated to a handmade gift provided by Eileen. But everyone was a winner this month and left with a beautiful bag of treats! Trader Joes, Uptown location, generously donated brand name product to fill a take home bag for every attendee. Phyllis Chavez gave a brief presentation and provided “facts” about Trader Joe’s. Our singer, Natalie Wylie, sang like an angel accompanied by Donna Treece. The music lifted our spirits and set the stage for Sonya's talk. Sonya Lia Cleveland shared a moving testimony of her difficult walk on the path to finding her Faith and her purpose in her talk titled Under His Construction. Sonya and her husband, Chris, are a beautiful example of Ephesians 3;20 "Now for him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
