The Networking Special Feature highlighted a variety of Small Businesses and gave us a quick introduction to the owners and their passion. Our businesses included: Angie Thurman, Premier Jewelry; Lisa Davis, Thirty One Gifts; Jeanne Saxon, Moo House Designs (T-Shirts); Carla Terwilliger, Specialty Hand Made Jewelry and CD's; Jenny Johnson, Twinkling Photography; ElLouise Miller, Ella's Green Chili Treats and Elegant Catering Company; Amy Allen, Humble Bumbles Books, Gifts and Cards; Lalaine Stone, Realtor with Coldwell Banker Legacy; Jan Childers, Nygard Style Direct Clothing.
ElLouise Miller did double duty as a presenter and had us clapping hands and tapping toes as she shared her beautiful voice with us. Her version of “How Great Thou Art” set the mood for our speaker and her message of hope. She was accompanied beautifully by Joy Cox playing the piano.
Anita C Lee, a professional life coach, and author of The Authentic You, delivered her message entitled “Becoming the Woman You Were Created To Be”. Anita encouraged her listeners to search for who they are in God's eyes and heart and not to accept the negative view from the world around them. She reminded us that “God is LOVE” and that we are His special creation. Anita's soft spoken words of encouragement and truth are uplifting and she offered her book to continue the conversation. We appreciate Anita's message and it is a beautiful way to start a New Year with hope.
Please join us on Feb 21st, 2018 for our next AQBCWC Brunch. Reservations are required and need to be registered by Feb 14th.
